The Journal of Biomedical Research starts using Crosscheck to prevent plagiarism in scholarly publication
June 13, 2012: The Journal of Biomedical Research has entered into an agreement with the CrossRef organization to use its proprietary Crosscheck for checking submitted manuscripts for potential plagiarism. Crosscheck is powered by iThenticate, an initiative started by CrossRef to help its members actively engage in efforts to prevent scholarly and professional plagiarism. The Journal aims to maintain the highest ethical standard in biomedical publication and spares no efforts in ensuring the scientific integrity of studies published in the Journal. The Journal is also a member of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).
